The SAFE project action stems from a collaborative effort between two organizations, the Destiny Centre for Excellence (DCE) and TEAM-Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM), recognizing deficiencies in consumer awareness and administrative capacity regarding food safety and consumer protection in Albania. The Action “SAFE-Support Albania Food Education” aims to contribute in improving the effectiveness of the food safety system in Albania.

It has two specific objectives: Specific Objective 1: To strengthen capacities of food supply chain stakeholders to fulfil their roles and responsibilities in the food safety system as a shared responsibility; and Specific Objective 2: To support and promote multi-dimensional cooperation of food safety affected actors.

The project is approved by EUD Albania and it will start in February 2025, as stipulated in the grant contract.
